All the NEET UG aspirants, there is good news for you! This year 6 new medical colleges will be opened with the capacity of 600 MBBS seats for medical admissions through NEET UG. Once these medical colleges are operational in the country, the MBBS seats will be more than 1 Lakh.

This is really exciting news for everyone preparing for NEET UG 2023 that 600 more seats will be available for them with the establishment of 6 new medical colleges.

6 new medical colleges soon good news for neet aspirants

Till now, there are 99763 MBBS seats in India that are offered by 655 Indian Medical Institutions. After adding 6 new colleges teaching MBBS, seats will increase to above a lakh in number.

The National Medical Commission has sent Letter of Permission to these MBBS Schools. And they will be functional in Assam and Andhra Pradesh soon.

NEET UG 2023

Last year, more than 18 Lakhs candidates applied for NEET. Which is why this is one of India’s most competitive exams. This year registrations have not yet started, application forms for NEET UG 2023 will be Invited anytime soon.

The registration for 7 May exam may be starting in a couple of days. Aspirants should check the eligibility criteria before applying:
Age limit- no upper age limit to appear in NEET but the lower age limit is 17 years at the time of admission or should complete on or before 31 December of the year of admission to College.
Aspirant appeared or appearing in 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as the main subject must pass with minimum following marks category wise to be eligible to apply:
UR/Gen.EWS- 50%
OBC/SC/ST- 40%
PWBD- 40%

According to the NTA Examination Calendar for Academic Year 2023-24, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2023 will be conducted on 7 May 2023 as a single medical entrance exam for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in Indian Medical colleges and universities. The NEET UG 2023 Registrations process for this exam will likely commence in March as per the recent media reports.

But NTA has yet not made any official announcement on when the dates of NEET UG online application will be out.

The National Testing Agency conducts NEET every year in pen and paper mode and invites the registration forms from eligible candidates usually 2-3 months before the date of exam as per latest trends. So for 7th May this year. It is expected that registrations for NEET 2023 will likely begin in the first week of March.

Once the application form is made available, there are some key points to keep in mind before filling it. As after registration is done corrections are not possible.

As all information from NTA will be communicated to aspirants through registered email or phone number so make sure you enter the email and mobile number of your own.

How to apply for NEET 2023?

Follow the below steps :
Step 1– create application number and password after entering the required details in the registration form.

Step 2– Now login with these credentials and fill up the application form with personal info. Select medium of paper and exam cities. Enter the qualifications info and upload all required images and documents in the mentioned formats and sizes.

Step 3– Pay the exam fee and save the confirmation page of the application form for future reference.
