According to public notice declared by the National Testing Agency, it is for postponement of JEE main 2020 Admit Card Release till last week of May 2020.
As per the notice, NTA announces that the JEE main 2020 admit cards will be released after 14 April. However, the exact dates are not announced yet but we expect that the admit card will be released in the last week of May 2020. The situation of delay in admit-cards release happened because of emergency lockdown due to COVID19 pandemic in India.
Thereby while considering the student’s safety, NTA has taken this action. After analysing the notice it was found that NTA will announce the admit card release only after the situation become normal and government remove this lockdown to allow to conduct the examination.
NTA officials said that they are hoping that everything will be normal soon but for now they are closely monitoring the scenario and they are evaluating the situation and will soon announce the upcoming events related to JEE.
The conducting dates for JEE main 2020 were 5th to 11th April 2020 but due to coronavirus crisis, the exam is postponed to 18 April.
